An author talk with Sam Quinones

Lawrence Cares, along with the Lawrence Public Library, hosted a talk with New York Times bestselling author Sam Quinones, who wrote “The Least of Us: True Tales of America and Hope in the Time of Fentanyl and Meth.”

Quinones’ book shows the realities of dangerous street drugs and the staggering connections between new synthetic drugs and the surge in mental health and homelessness issues. Through community, he shows the hope that exists for our futures.
